Dolmades - Sarmale




















 Ingredients: 1 kg mix minced meat (turkey,beef,pork),200 gr rice,3 chopped onions,150 ml tomatoes juice,herbs,1/2 grated carrot,1/2 grated parsley,salt,pepper,cabbage leafs,4 tablespoons oil.
Fry the onion,carrot,parsley and rice in 4 tablespoons of oil until browned,add 75 ml tomatoes juice and allow to cool.
Stir together the meat with salt,pepper,herbs,and the mix of onion with rice.
Cut the cabbage leafs,roll the meat in its and form the dolmades,as shown in photos.Arrange the dolmades in to a pan, pour the water to cover its and cook for 2 1/2-3 hours at medium heat or until the cabbage is really soft.
Serve with polenta ,cheese,cream or yogurt and chili.
